Another outstanding job done by the staff at this deli. Jessica and the young lady that delivered my food . Extremely pleasant The food is Very delicious. Everything is and fresh and well prepared they do not give you no cheap veggies they give you the expensive veggies, eggplant, cauliflower, squash, etc.. This place deserves more than a five star. Thanks to the Chef. Also for doing a wonderful job. Fish was awesome. God bless all of you for doing an incredible job day and day out. I do not know if the owner of this business reads reviews but he or she needs to take time and acknowledge these employees for an incredible job Many blessings.

I ordered some tacos for takeout and i only have good things to say about this place. The service was friendly, the packaging was great and obviously the food was delicious. I am only upset that I hadn't gone sooner to this place. Truly an authentic taste of Latin American food.

Ordered pupusas here for my coworkers to try. I had a mixup with the order as they don't accept door dash, only Uber eats. I am extremely satisfied with the customer service. They had my order ready on time, even though I let them know only 40 minutes ahead of time to make 16 pupusas. The pupusas were cheesy and fluffy. They were very generous with the curtido and salsa as well. I would absolutely order from here again

I love ordering takeout from here. The Tacos de Pollo is my favorite, and the Baleadas from here are good too! The maracuya (passion fruit ) juice and horchata are beverages I would recommend.

Stopped in to get lunch on a hot July afternoon. Ordered two pupusas (revuelto, beans and cheese with bell pepper; and one just cheese). They were delicious. Pupusas, the national dish of El Salvador, are made from corn masa, and stuffed, and these were superb. The service was very friendly, and I was charged two dollars for each. What a bargain! Do yourself a favor, and go. There's street parking, and it is worth a visit. Highly recommended.

Was in the mood for tacos so I checked this place out. Amazing food ! So glad I ordered lunch from here. A must go to restaurant and I will definitely be ordering from here again soon. Totally worth the price. Food came on time and everything was very delicious and authentic. Ordered the 3 Tacos de Carne Asada, Tacos Al Pastor, Plátanos Fritos and Pupusa Loca. Would highly recommend. Support your local businesses !!

Life is pretty amazing. Every day we get priceless opportunities to meet and learn from some great people and experience their love and care. I am most definitely one of those who was fortunate to walk into El Manguito Deli and meet their fantastic owner Amil and his dear Mom and get the most amazing meal served with a lot of love and kindness. Tuesday morning: holy cwap it is 45 degrees F and 30 degrees cooler than yesterday; workout,coffee, pick up platters for Mom's lunch with her friends and then I did a Yelp current location search by Mom's house in New Hyde Park and found El Manguito Deli. In the Yelp From the Business and Meet the Owner section, Amil wrote: "This is a family business. After working in different areas of the food field, my mother and myself decided to open up a place where anyone from different cultures can come in and enjoy our variety of dishes from vegetarian all the way to great steaks and chicken dishes. We put a lot of love into what we do because we want all of our guests to feel welcome when from the minute they step into our business." Amil, you say X and do X. Love it, respect it!!! I saw a photo of this gorgeous salmon, quinoa and veggie dish and walked in with it on my phone. I loved the aroma of the delicious food as I walked in and saw a bunch of folks enjoying their meals and happy. Walked past the beautiful freshly prepared dishes and asked about the salmon. Got to meet Amil who was just so polite and kind. He said he could definitely make it and it would be 30 minutes. I threw another quarter in the meter, put on some Bocelli and Enya and pushed the seat back. 30 minutes later I had the healthiest, tastiest and probably the best salmon, quinoa and veggie lunch platter( with pico de gallo and lemons) I have ever had. Only $12 for this quality and taste!! I have never tasted quinoa so flavorful and fresh; the salmon was done just right. The cauliflower, broccoli and carrots were spot on. The pico de gallo was chug worthy. Amil said he could make some fish tacos next time as he gave me a menu and asked me to call 30 minutes ahead. The chicken looked divine. The meat dishes looked really appetizing. Everything really!!! Plenty of soda, juice,drink and chip options. Lots of seats inside. Loved the music playing. Loved the packaged cakes and dessert options. El Manguito was spotless. The entire food area was immaculate. Had a great meal, got so much love from Amil and all of his employees and could not wait to tell you all and plan to head back for breakfast soon as they open at 5:30 am. Life is pretty amazing!!
